Anurag Basu’s ‘Jagga Jasoos’ has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. Initially the film was making headlines due to the delay in its shooting schedule and release of the movie. And now if the reports are to be believed, the film is again in trouble, what with actor Govinda backing out of the film at the nth hour.
Govinda, who was playing the role of Ranbir Kapoor’s foster father in the movie, had a fall out with director Anurag Basu and hence walked out of the film.
Reportedly, Anurag Basu is considering actors Anil Kapoor or Amitabh Bachchan to step into Govinda’s role. While Anil Kapoor is currently in Malaysia for IIFA, Big B has revealed to a leading daily that Basu has approached him for the role.
Amitabh Bachchan told Mumbai Mirror, “I've had a meeting with Anurag Basu for ‘Jagga Jasoos’ but he's still in the writing process.”
However, nothing has been officially declared yet. Whether Big B steps in to Govinda’s shoes or not, is something to watch out for!
